Processions: Suffragette Banner project

I’m very excited to announce my next artist project: I have been selected to lead a project to create contemporary Suffragette banners for a national procession to take place in London in June.

I’ll be working with three different groups of women to make their own banners, including modern slogans and images that echo the original Suffragette banners. Workshops will run through March and April, I will collate the original hand rendered artwork to be digitally printed on to canvas, a similar process to my contemporary prayer flags for the ‘Mind Control Tower’ commission in 2016.
