Symbolising a resurrection of the creative spirit and its radical transformative potential, I was initially inspired by J. G. Ballard’s ‘The Crystal World’ where, through a process of crystallisation, bodies have started to petrify into quartz. Transfigured and illuminated, they are absorbed into the immutable ‘One Spirit’.
